Long long day. Left Whistler just after 8.30am in plenty of time to get 10.40am ferry but it left late and was very full so had to wait for next one which eventually left about 1.20pm. Late again. Not sure why.

Arrived on the Island and drove straight to our friend Jeannie’s for tea and delicious cake. Very civilised! Good to catch up with her and her lovely dog Brynn again.

Then off to our home for the month at Pacific Shores. It is fabulous.

Even if the weather is bad it won’t be a problem living here for four months!
Just seen my first hummingbird of this trip. So exciting.

Almost as exciting is having our own washing machine – how sad is that! 😂😂
