Monday 27th June Jack Point Park/Nanaimo and Beachcomber

Beautiful sunset last night

Not quite so hot today but perfect for our last walk at Jack Point park.

The first heron we saw
And then there were 19 fishing on the incoming tide
Juvenile bald Eagle having to concentrate on holding onto this branch
So he moved
Yellow rumped warbler
Nanaimo in the background with a bald Eagle waiting for lunch to swim by
Concentrating
Brown Creeper – boy are they acrobatic

Rufous hummingbird
Lots of activity on the water
Someone forgot baby
Baby Junco waiting for
Deliveroo
Cedar Waxwing
Wonderful skies

Trucks going sailing
My favourite tree

Time for a quick iced latte before heading to Beachcomber

Eaglet stretching his wings
Looks like Dad is taking a well earned rest

Then it was home for dinner.
