Better weather today and really enjoyed our walk to Jack Point with Jeannie and Brynn – blustery wind but some sun eventually. Then had our last visit to Nanaimo Harbour for this holiday – very busy but that was only to be expected as it was a bank holiday.
Tough decision as to where to eat but we eventually decided on French Creek pub and it didn’t disappoint. Fully refreshed we spent some time watching the wildlife in the estuary. The dog walker and Brynn

Not sure about this bird – maybe a cowbird?

French Creek was like a bathhouse for gulls!
Killdeer – there were three and this one was not happy
Do you think he knew he was Catch of the Day?

It was a delightful wander! Brynn and I thank you! Going to be hard to say “until next time,” I tried to identify that mystery bird and the closest I could find was a female Brown Headed Cowbird…the light was all wrong…we’ll blame the light…lol!
Loved your pictures! Thank you to the bestest dog walker too!
See you at Beachcomber tomorrow morning…hoping for some stunning action to send you on your way!🤗❤️
Wouldn’t it be great if the eagles put on a show!
